Family dinner was a success and a pleasure. Steak, prawns, potato salad, garlic broccoli, blue cheese on toast points, garlic bread, lemon meringue pie and birthday greetings for each other. It’s Marjorie Roberts birthday. She was my first BFF way back when we rode our bicycles to seventh grade. She shared her Grandma with me and her aunt Marge. We are 81 now. Doesn’t seem possible. Today I expect routine: walk, senior center duty, water orchids, maybe take dust off something.
